Chapter 2Verse 37
Sankhya Yoga
हतो वा प्राप्स्यसि स्वर्गं जित्वा वा भोक्ष्यसे महीम्। तस्मादुत्तिष्ठ कौन्तेय युद्धाय कृतनिश्चयः॥
hato vā prāpsyasi svargaṁ jitvā vā bhokṣyase mahīm, tasmād uttiṣṭha kaunteya yuddhāya kṛta-niścayaḥ
Meaning
This is Krishna cutting through the paralysis with plain arithmetic. Arjuna is frozen because he's staring at the outcome, so Krishna walks both outcomes forward and shows that neither one is the disaster he fears. Once the result stops being the thing that decides everything, it's possible to just stand up and act.
Reflection
Stop weighing the outcome. Stand up and do what's in front of you.
